For the room block beginning February 15, 2012 0 of the 6 rooms have been reserved with the cut-off date being January 15, 2012.

 

 

Pending availability the hotel will still honor the discounted rates for each block.  Would it possible for you to send out a final reminder via e-mail and let the team know that their credit cards will not be charged until check out.  With the holiday season I know that some people are hesitant to place charges on their credit cards.

 

 

USSA Registration:

Registration for USSA for the 2011-2012 is open for renewal as of June 2011.  If you are renewing, they have changed the login and will require you to create a new login.  You will be to use the id you had in the past.

NYSSRA Registration is now open for renewal or for new members.   Please go to this site to register:

You will need your USSA membership number to register. Go to the registration link. Please register for Races as soon as possible. Renewals must be completed by October 15, 2011 to be counted in quotas for States.

Dry Land Training Exercises:

The ski racing season is upon us! 

 

Our first program for the season for BMRA members is Virtual Dry Land Training.  Below is a six part series of special exercises specifically designed for ski racing.  These vidoes were created by Dorothy Hamburg, a recognized USA Triathlon Level II Expert Coach (see full bio below).

Full Bio:
Dorothy Hamburg, M.S., obtained her Masters of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Oregon in 1998. She has a strong background in sports medicine and biomechanics with a multidisciplinary specialization in lumbar spine stabilization and dysfunction.
    Dorothy has over 20 years of experience teaching weight training and strength conditioning. She specializes in helping individuals regain mobility and strength that has been lost through illness, injury or inactivity.
    Dorothy is a USA Triathlon Level II Expert Coach, and is nationally certified as a Clinical Exercise Specialist and Health Fitness Instructor by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and as a Personal Strength Trainer by the American Council of Exercise.
    Dorothy competes (inter)nationally in both short and long-course road triathlon, Xterra off-road triathlon, ultra-trail marathons & mountain biking
